Last night I flew over the city that I spend my life photographing at street level…to see it in entirety from such a different perspective was a head fuck. My whole life was down there somewhere, as was tens of millions of others. But the details of all our lives had been lost in the darkness. From the heavens we are mere microchips, connected together in a living breathing circuit board. Maybe this is the Matrix after all…
