hi bev
good to hear from you. glad you liked the gallery…and yes, please spread the word! :)
Babycakes, I, too, loved your essay on the dying art of conversation. Your photos tell it all. My son refuses to have his phone out when he’s with people. He loves nothing more than conversing about all subjects.
Sarah, my son just moved back to the US after living in NZ for six years in Wellington. A writer, also. I went to see him three times. He has his permanent residency there and I know he will return:-) I love the kiwis.
Babycakes, I am forwarding your essay to people that can’t seem to let go of their phone. It’s certainly food for thought. Thanks!!

Hey Babycakes
I’m a NZ journalist – Editor of a Weekend magazine for Fairfax. I LOVED your photo essay on the dying art of conversation with the pics of people and their phones – Is there a chance we could interview you for a story?
cheers Sarah Daniell
